Indiana University’s School of Education is partnering with Title VI Area Studies Centers on this exciting professional development opportunity for middle and high school social studies teachers.

In this workshop, subject-matter specialists from IU-Bloomington’s Title VI Area Studies

Centers will present content related to the theme of Culture Hearths.  The presentations will connect the theme with Standard 1- Culture Hearths from Indiana Academic Standards for Geography and History of the World.

A teaching methods specialist will provide creative teaching ideas for your social studies course.
